Tempo’s “Fitness Refund” Program Aims to Convert Gym Memberships

Fitness

In a bold move to lure gym members away from traditional fitness centers, Tempo, the AI-powered at-home strength training company, has launched its innovative “Fitness Refund” campaign. The program targets dissatisfied gym-goers by covering the cost of an average gym cancellation fee when they sign up for Tempo Training, which includes a 30-day free trial.

The Battle Between Home Fitness and Gyms

The battle between at-home fitness solutions and brick-and-mortar gyms has intensified, with Tempo stepping into the ring. Recognizing that working out at home eliminates the need for commuting and planning, Tempo aims to capitalize on this convenience factor. Tax season, in particular, marks a decline in gym attendance, resulting in an estimated $397 million loss due to unused gym memberships over the course of a year.
